Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates – A dynamic practice for strength, control, and balance.

Reformer Pilates is a full-body movement method that combines strength, flexibility, and mindful movement using a reformer with adjustable spring resistance. Designed to challenge and support your body in equal measure, it builds deep core strength, improves posture, and develops lean muscle tone through controlled, low-impact exercises.

The adjustable resistance allows you to work through a wide range of movements, improving stability, mobility, coordination, and overall body awareness. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve flexibility, support your spine, or complement your existing fitness routine, Reformer Pilates offers an effective and adaptable workout for all levels.

Each session is guided by experienced instructors who provide personalised attention, helping you move with proper technique and confidence. With options to increase or reduce resistance, every workout can be tailored to your individual strength, experience, and fitness goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Reformer Pilates different from Mat Pilates?

While both share the same principles, Reformer Pilates is performed on a specialised machine that uses springs and a moving carriage to provide adjustable resistance and support throughout each exercise. Mat Pilates, on the other hand, is performed on a mat and primarily uses your body weight and gravity for resistance.

Both methods help improve core strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness. Reformer Pilates offers greater variety through adjustable resistance and assisted movements, while Mat Pilates focuses more on controlling your body using your own strength. The best choice depends on your individual goals and preferences, and both can be adapted to different fitness levels.
